Today, April 14, 2010 I’m at Chrip, Twitter’s official developer conference, and it’s a fantastic event so far. Over 1,000 people are filling seats in the room and they served mimosas for breakfast, so what’s not to like?
Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter and a past Tweet House speaker, shared some official statistics from the Twitter server logs:
Number of registered users on Twitter: 105,779,719
Number of new users added each day: 300,000
Number of unique visitors to Twitter.com per month:: 180,000,000
Percent of unreported traffic through the API: 75%
Those are some incredible numbers.
