Who Tweets About Comic-Con? Profile Analysis Indicates Writers are No 1

by Steve Broback on May 31, 2010

In preparation for our upcoming Tweet House bash at Comic-con San Diego, we’re doing a deep analysis of those tweeting about the expo. We’ve archived 15,000 tweets that mention Comic-con, and have captured 10,000 related profiles. If you do a word frequency analysis from those profile descriptions, and focus on job-related terms here’s how things shake out in terms of popularity:

1 writer
2 artist
3 student
4 designer
5 editor
6 blogger
7 photographer
8 producer
9 illustrator
10 creator

The number one “writer” in terms of followers is Ryan Penagos, (@Agent_M) who will be joining us at our Party on the 23rd.

We have a lot more data surrounding this market. If you’re involved in an organization interested in understanding or engaging with the Comic-con social audience, let us know. steve AT parnassusgroup etc.
