Mark Milian

Mark Milian is a technology writer for CNN.

Before that, Milian was a technology staff writer for the Los Angeles Times. He was brought on as part of the summer internship program in Los Angeles in 2008 as a reporter and social media strategist, and had his internship extended to continue writing while finishing school. He is now a full-time writer, living in Los Angeles and covering technology, music, travel and politics.

Previously, Milian, 22, blogged about Mac computer software and online media ventures. He has several years of experience in writing for newspapers. Thanks to a brief stint in Web development, along with several design classes, he also has an eye for layout and visual direction.

Milian is active in the social media scape. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in May 2009 and received his Bachelor’s degree in online journalism from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism.
