This just in (10:12am Friday) Gustavo Brambila is bringing a 1977 Grgich Hills Chardonnay and a 1976 Chateau Montelena late harvest Riesling to the tasting!
The Buick Tweet House Road Trip team will be arriving this Friday at the AVIA Hotel at the Napa Valley Film Festival, and we’d love to have all Tweet House guests join us for the opening of the 1974 Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet that made it’s way down the coast from the cellar of The Herbfarm Restaurant in Woodinville, WA. Not only will it be a fun party with great wines on hand, but you may also be one of the people chosen to taste a 37 year-old piece of winemaking history!
Some of the invited tasters include:
Brenda and Marc Llhormer (Producers of the film “Bottle Shock”), Freddy RodrÃguez (“Gustavo Brambila” in the film “Bottle Shock”), as well as Gustavo Brambila himself (GustavoThrace Wines), Scott Wolf (Party of Five), Robert “Scobleizer” Scoble, (Rackspace) Kristy Sammis (Clever Girls Collective), Rick Bakas, Barbara “Seattle Wine Gal” Evans, Kelsey Ivey, Lisa Gilpin (Weber Shandwick), Sue Furdek (Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars).
Time: 1:00pm
Date: 11.11.11
Location: AVIA Hotel Napa Valley
Besides the travelers who made the trip and pre-selected Tweet House VIPs and speakers in attendance, we’ll be randomly drawing at least one name from the guests present to join in on the tasting the 1974 Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet.
Even if your name is not drawn, all Tweet House guests are still winners as they will sample many great wines at this event:
We are excited to announce that our friends at Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars will be sharing some wines from their history-making estate. They will be bringing a few bottles of their top selections such as the 2008 Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars S.L.V. Estate Cabernet Sauvignon (the 35th anniversary vintage of the Paris Tasting winning wine) and the 2008 Stag Leap Wine Cellars 2008 ARTEMIS Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
And don’t forget we’re always serving the official wines of the Napa Tweet House being from our partners at Flora Springs. The Flora Springs name has become synonymous with perfectly balanced wines. Look no further than their Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot or Chardonnay for great examples of hand crafted artisan wines that express both subtle nuances and bold Napa Valley fruit.
