Tweet House Festivities at CES 2013

Special Guest @BryanSinger

American film director, writer and producer. Bryan Singer won critical acclaim for his work on “The Usual Suspects”, and is especially well-known among fans of the science fiction and superhero genres for his work on the “X-Men” films. Many know Bryan from his work as executive producer of the “House M.D.” TV series.

As with so many people around this time of year, Bryan is feeling a little under the weather, so his Thunderbirds flights — which for obvious reasons requires that all passengers be in top condition — has been postponed. We hope that Bryan will feel well enough to join us at the party.

Air Force & Thunderbirds Embark with Bryan Singer to Nellis Air Force Base

January 11, 2013

Thanks to months of preparation and conversation with our counterparts at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, we are pleased to announce that a small contingent of Tweet House regulars and press will have an experience of a lifetime.

The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, The Thunderbirds (@AFThunderbirds), are based at Nellis AFB Nevada (@Nellisafb).

On January 11, a Tweet House contingent will escort director Bryan Singer to Nellis AFB where the group will see up close and personal the Thunderbirds squadron and meet some of the most accomplished Airmen in the world. While Bryan is being prepped for his F-16 flight, our guests will participate in some of the most sought-after experiences the Air Force has to offer, including a tour of the Cyber training center.

The cyber domain has become a key terrain of the battlefield, and our guests will see how the Air Force navigates defense in the virtual space. Few get a chance to see “network defense” from the front lines, and we are excited that Nellis has made this opportunity available to us.

In addition, Nellis is working to arrange hands-on demonstration and activities with Explosive Ordnance Disposal units, Ground Combat Training facilities and various other Air Force operators.
